Description

The SeaStar Standard hose kit supplies two 12 ft (3.66 m) hydraulic steering hoses, helping you route both steering lines with the correct matched length. Each hose has factory-fitted end connections for the specified system.

• Two hoses, each 12 ft long (approximately 3.66 m).
• Standard hydraulic steering hose.
• Brass end fittings with 3/8-inch compression connections.
• 1000 psi hose rating.
• Direct hose kit; not a bulkhead-through fitting kit.

Selecting and fitting the kit

Measure the hose route using the steering-system manufacturer instructions and allow the specified clearance for engine travel. Confirm the helm, cylinder and fitting connections before ordering. This standard kit is not suitable for SeaStar Pro, Capilano or three-line inboard systems. Do not use these hoses as a substitute for a different hose series or a bulkhead kit. Install the bend-restrictor ends at the cylinder as instructed, then fill, bleed and check the steering system using the manufacturer procedure.
