Installation & Caution
- Remove any caps, plugs, or screws from the tiller arm before installation
- Ensure the tiller bolt head is properly secured with a wrench during installation to avoid loss of steering control
- Do not use NPT fittings; only -3 ORB hose fittings should be used
- Regular oil level and system checks are critical for safe operation
- Avoid continuous kinking or chafing of steering hoses to prevent potential rupture
- Ensure no interference between jack plates and the steering cylinder
- Engine removal may be required for splashwells under 30″ in width
