Apeks WTX Harness – Large

The Apeks WTX Harness is a highly adaptable and robust modular harness designed to serve as a versatile foundation within the Apeks WTX and WTX-D Series system. Engineered to support a wide range of diving configurations, this harness can be used as a streamlined single-cylinder setup or expanded into a heavy-duty technical configuration capable of handling twin steel cylinders. Its modular construction allows divers to tailor their equipment precisely to their diving style, environment, and experience level.

Constructed from rugged 1050D ballistic nylon, the Apeks WTX Harness is built to withstand the demands of frequent diving and harsh conditions. The harness can mount directly to a single cylinder using dual GripLock tank bands or a single tank adapter, making it suitable for recreational and technical single-cylinder diving straight out of the box. For divers carrying heavier loads, the harness is compatible with a WTX Back Plate, providing the structural support required for twin-cylinder configurations and more complex rigs.

Customisation is a key strength of the Apeks WTX Harness. The open shoulder design allows divers to add, remove, or reposition hardware as needed, while multiple grommet settings on the waistband enable the attachment of the SureLock™ weight system for integrated weight options. A removable crotch strap made from soft 2-inch webbing improves stability and trim underwater without compromising comfort. The removable back pad adds cushioning and support, particularly when carrying heavier equipment.

Equipment management is made easy through the extensive array of stainless steel D-rings positioned across the harness. These attachment points accommodate lights, reels, marker buoys, argon bottles, and other accessories, allowing divers to organise their gear efficiently and maintain a clean profile in the water. Stainless steel tri-loaders help distribute the load evenly across the shoulders, waist, and back, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. Designed with safety and practicality in mind, the harness includes SOLAS reflector airway hold-downs that can be removed or repositioned, as well as a standard chest strap for added stability.
