Aqualung Pro HD Compact BCD is an ultra-light, travel-friendly, back-inflation buoyancy compensator designed for divers who want maximum performance with minimal bulk. This weight-integrated BCD combines convenience, comfort, and innovative features to make diving easier and more enjoyable. Even the medium-large size weighs less than 2.2 kg (4.75 lbs) with airway and weight pockets included, making it ideal for travelers concerned about luggage weight. Its flexible design allows it to be packed flat or rolled, enhancing portability without compromising functionality.

The weight integration system uses Aqualung’s patented SureLock™ II mechanical lock and release system, which aligns the weight pockets for easy insertion until they “click” into place. A single pull of the release jettisons the weights in an emergency, providing safety without complexity. The tank support system eliminates the need for a hard pack. A lower tank band aligns with the waist band, while a valve strap pulls the cylinder toward the center of gravity, transferring the load to the hips and relieving shoulder strain.

Comfort and adjustability are key with the adjustable chest strap, which rides on a rail system allowing it to be raised, lowered, or removed. Proprietary flat valves reduce bulk and improve streamlined comfort. The Aqualung Pro HD Compact BCD also includes a fold-down, easy-access pocket, 6 D-rings for attaching accessories, and attachment grommets for a knife.

Dump valves are conveniently located on the right shoulder and lower right sides for efficient air release. Sculpted padded shoulders and padded spine and lumbar support enhance comfort for long dives. Optional non-ditch weight pockets, as well as add-ons such as the Air Source, Squeeze Lock knife, and reflector kit, expand versatility.
