Apeks AT Octopus

The Apeks AT Octopus is a high-performance alternate air source designed to perfectly complement the Apeks AT primary regulator. It offers the same advanced features and reliable performance as the AT second stage, while incorporating a high-visibility yellow front cover and a 36-inch yellow hose to ensure that it can be easily identified in emergency situations. Designed with safety, comfort, and ease of use in mind, the AT Octopus is a dependable addition to any diver’s regulator setup.

Engineered for smooth, effortless breathing, the Apeks AT Octopus features a pneumatically balanced second stage that minimises breathing resistance and delivers consistent airflow under a variety of diving conditions. This ensures that both the diver and a buddy receiving air from the alternate source can breathe comfortably and efficiently, even in challenging circumstances. The octopus is compatible with EAN40 enriched air right out of the box, making it suitable for use in a wide range of diving profiles.

The diver retains full control of the venturi effect through an easy-to-use lever, which helps prevent accidental freeflow when the octopus is not in use. This feature allows for confident handling of the regulator, particularly when it is being stored in a low-profile position or during routine dives where the alternate air source is not needed. The large, bright yellow front cover improves visibility in both calm and low-light conditions, ensuring the octopus can be quickly located in the event of an out-of-air emergency.
