Single cylinder wings, commonly known as donut wings, are oval-shaped buoyancy cells that are not permanently attached to a harness. Originally developed for technical diving, they have become increasingly popular among recreational divers due to their clean profile and predictable buoyancy characteristics. The continuous-loop design allows air to circulate freely throughout the wing, eliminating sudden air shifts from side to side and providing consistent trim and stability in the water.

Apeks has designed the Apeks WTX-D30 PSD Single Cylinder Wing so that the cylinder nests deep inside the wing, helping to reduce drag and maintain a compact, balanced setup.
