Single cylinder wings, commonly referred to as donut wings, are oval-shaped air cells that are not permanently attached to a harness. While their origins are firmly rooted in technical diving, these wings have become increasingly popular with recreational divers due to their stability and clean, hydrodynamic profile. The continuous-loop design allows air to circulate evenly around the wing, eliminating sudden air shifts from side to side and providing predictable, controlled buoyancy throughout the dive.

The Apeks WTX-D30 Single Cylinder Wing is engineered so that the cylinder nests deep inside the wing, creating a compact and streamlined profile in the water. This design reduces drag and helps maintain excellent trim, making it suitable for a wide range of diving conditions. The wing integrates seamlessly with the rest of the Apeks WTX collection, including harnesses, backplates, and accessories, and can be configured in multiple ways depending on personal preference and dive requirements.

Manufactured from premium materials, the exterior shell is constructed from durable 1000D Armorshield Cordura to protect against abrasion and wear, while the internal bladder is made from thick black urethane for long-term reliability. Designed by Apeks and built in their own factory, the WTX-D30 reflects the brand’s reputation for precision engineering, durability, and performance-focused design.
