The Garmin GPSMAP 1022xsv Chartplotter offers a vivid 10″ colour display designed to deliver wide viewing angles, making it easy to see important navigation details from various positions at the helm. Compatible with Garmin’s premium maps and charts, it gives you access to advanced Garmin navigation for both inland and coastal waters. With Garmin Marine Network support, the unit allows multiple devices onboard to share information seamlessly, improving overall system efficiency and vessel awareness.

This chartplotter features a fast and responsive 10 Hz GPS and GLONASS receiver, refreshing position and heading ten times per second for smooth onscreen tracking. Waypoints, tracks and routes can be easily transferred from other GPS devices through standard GPX formatting, simplifying the process of moving your data from previous systems. Select models offer built-in sonar capabilities, letting you see what’s around and beneath your boat, although transducers are sold separately and not included.

The Garmin GPSMAP 1022xsv Chartplotter is sonar capable with single-channel CHIRP sonar as well as CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonar support, along with compatibility for Panoptix and LiveScope live sonar technologies when paired with the required accessories. Built-in ANT connectivity allows wireless pairing with compatible Garmin devices such as quatix marine watches, gWind Wireless 2 transducers, GNX Wind instruments and wireless remotes.

Wi-Fi is included for connection to the ActiveCaptain app, enabling access to smart notifications, software updates, chart features and the ability to manage your marine experience from a compatible smartphone. Navigation is enhanced with Garmin SailAssist, featuring polar tables, laylines, wind data, set and drift information and more, helping you optimise your sailing performance.

Optional Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography provides integrated coastal and inland content, daily chart updates and Auto Guidance+ technology. The chartplotter is fully network capable with Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 support, letting you share sonar, radar, maps, user data and camera feeds across compatible devices.

Engine connectivity gives access to vital engine information such as RPM, fuel flow, temperature and trim when supported by the engine system. You can also pair an inReach satellite communicator to send messages directly from the display using the on-screen keyboard. Integration with Power-Pole shallow water anchors and the CHARGE Marine Power Manager provides advanced anchoring features, battery management, power allocation and emergency start capabilities—all controllable from the chartplotter.
