SE Sport 400 Hydrofoil – Black

Description

The SE Sport 400 Hydrofoil in black brings together planing support and integrated drill-free mounting. It is designed to help a compatible boat accelerate onto the plane and maintain control at lower planing speeds.

The curved profile, control tips and Turbo Trac design support handling and acceleration. Actual results depend on your hull, loading, engine setup and trim. Fuel savings and changes in top speed are not guaranteed.

Drill-free mounting with fitting checks

The supplied Disk-Grip mounting system can secure the hydrofoil without drilling the engine’s cavitation plate on compatible installations. The kit includes Disk-Grips, rubber washers, bolts, washers, adhesive strips and locking nuts. Conventional drilled mounting is also described in the manufacturer’s instructions.

Read the SE Sport 400 installation guide before fitting. Particular plate widths and engine models may require adjustments. Drill-free mounting is not a universal fit promise.

Engine compatibility

The manufacturer specifies compatible outboards and sterndrives from 40 HP upward, including 300 HP and larger engines. Confirm your exact engine, plate shape, width and clearance rather than choosing by horsepower alone.

• Not recommended for Volvo drives with exhaust through the cavitation plate.
• Mercury 40, 50 and 60 HP four-strokes and certain larger Honda, Yamaha and Evinrude motors have specific fitting instructions.
• This listing is for the black SE Sport 400 with stainless-steel mounting hardware.

If standard drilled mounting suits your setup, compare the SE Sport 300 and check its engine-specific requirements.
