Description
Garmin GPSMAP 923 Non-Sonar Chartplotter
The Garmin GPSMAP 923 Non-Sonar Chartplotter (010-02366-00) offers a sharper, more connected helm experience with its sleek design, powerful processing and upgraded 9″ IPS display. This advanced chartplotter is part of the GPSMAP X3 series and integrates cleanly into a modern Garmin marine system, providing a refined, edge-to-edge glass aesthetic with a compact footprint that fits a wide range of dash layouts. Its improved IPS display delivers higher resolution and better sunlight readability, allowing clear visibility from any angle.
Designed for seamless system-building, the GPSMAP 923 supports extensive marine integration. It connects easily with more engines, works with compatible third-party devices through OneHelm™ digital switching and ties into the broader Garmin Marine Network to share information such as radar, maps, user data and IP camera feeds. Although this is a non-sonar model, it still supports full network integration with systems that use scanning sonar, Panoptix™ or LiveScope™ technology, provided those capabilities are supplied by compatible external modules.
The unit supports optional Garmin Navionics+™ and premium Garmin Navionics Vision+™ cartography, combining coastal and inland content with access to daily updates and advanced tools including Auto Guidance+™ technology. For expanded situational awareness, an optional radar bundle is available featuring the compact 4 kW GMR™ 18 HD+ dome radar.
The GPSMAP 923 also supports advanced boating features such as Power-Pole® shallow water anchor integration, CHARGE Marine Power Manager connectivity, Garmin SailAssist™ tools and sailing polars. Sailors can access laylines, enhanced wind data, race start guidance and other sailing-specific functions to improve performance and navigation. Power-Pole integration enables smart boat control such as auto-deployment, smart anchor jog, auto stow and end-of-route anchoring when used with compatible systems.
Connectivity includes NMEA 2000®, NMEA 0183, integrated ANT® wireless support and built-in Wi-Fi®, enabling full access to the ActiveCaptain® app. Through the app, users can access OneChart™, receive smart notifications, download software updates, sync with Garmin Quickdraw™ Community data and manage key features remotely. The chartplotter also allows inReach® satellite communicator pairing, enabling typed custom messages directly from the display and organised, conversation-style communication.
This model is built for users who want the processing power and display quality of the X3 series without built-in sonar, while still retaining full network compatibility, premium mapping options and a completely connected helm experience.
