Single cylinder wings, often referred to as donut wings, feature a continuous-loop air cell that allows air to move freely around the wing. This design prevents abrupt air shifts from side to side, resulting in predictable buoyancy control and excellent trim throughout the dive. The Apeks WTX D18 Single Cylinder Wing is specifically sized to deliver a clean, low-profile setup, making it ideal for divers using smaller cylinders or diving in conditions where excessive lift is unnecessary.

The wing is engineered so the cylinder nests deep inside the air cell, reducing drag and enhancing hydrodynamics.
