This xsv model includes built-in Ultra High-Definition SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonars, offering exceptional underwater clarity with vivid, high-contrast colour palettes to easily distinguish fish from structure. It also supports 1 kW traditional CHIRP sonar for enhanced target separation and depth performance. For anglers who want real-time views in all directions, the unit integrates with Panoptix and LiveScope live sonar when paired with compatible transducers (sold separately), providing easy-to-interpret forward, downward and all-around imaging.

Designed for modern consoles, the Garmin GPSMAP 1223xsv Chartplotter features a slimline edge-to-edge glass display with upgraded IPS screen technology. The result is improved visibility, 50% more pixels than previous 12″ GPSMAP models and excellent readability from any angle, even in bright sunlight. Enhanced processing power ensures faster chart drawing, smoother performance and quicker map updates, making the interface more responsive across all functions.

This chartplotter is compatible with Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography, providing enhanced coastal and inland content, access to daily updates and Auto Guidance+ technology. An optional radar bundle includes the compact 4 kW GMR 18 HD+ dome radar, helping you monitor weather conditions and vessel traffic with clarity and confidence.

Fishing-focused integrations allow seamless control of Power-Pole shallow water anchors and the Power-Pole CHARGE Marine Power Manager, giving you the ability to manage battery allocation, monitor usage and handle emergency starts directly from the display. Sailors benefit from Garmin SailAssist, which includes laylines, race start guidance, enhanced wind data, tide and current information and sailing polars to help optimize performance.

Through the Garmin Marine Network, the chartplotter can share maps, radar, sonar, user data and video with compatible devices across the vessel. When paired with an inReach communicator, you can send custom messages, access your contact list and view conversations in a text-style format directly on the chartplotter.
