Garmin GPSMAP 723 Chartplotter
The Garmin GPSMAP 723 Chartplotter is designed to deliver faster, sharper and smarter performance for a wide range of helm configurations. Its slimline design features edge-to-edge glass and a smaller footprint, making it easy to retrofit into different dashboards while benefiting from improved processing power for smooth operation. Although this 7″ model does not include built-in sonar, it integrates seamlessly with a variety of Garmin systems and compatible third-party devices, giving you full flexibility in how you build and expand your marine setup.
The plotter is compatible with optional Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography, offering coastal and inland charts, daily updates, Auto Guidance+ technology, and an enhanced visual experience on the high-resolution display. By pairing with Panoptix or LiveScope live sonar systems (sold separately), you can access highly detailed underwater views when connected to the appropriate transducer. It also supports a broad range of engine data, allowing you to integrate with select engines, including Yamaha, for more streamlined monitoring on a single screen.
The Garmin GPSMAP 723 Chartplotter connects effortlessly to the Garmin Marine Network and both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 networks, enabling sharing of radar, user data, IP camera feeds, audio systems, autopilot functions and more. With built-in Wi-Fi, it pairs with the ActiveCaptain app for OneChart access, smart notifications, software updates and additional features that enhance your onboard experience. It also supports ANT connectivity for linking with compatible Garmin marine wearables, sensors and wireless instruments.
Designed for both cruising and sailing, the Garmin GPSMAP 723 Chartplotter includes Garmin SailAssist features such as laylines, race guidance and advanced wind data, helping sailors make confident decisions on the water. Through the OneHelm integration platform, the device brings together the control of select third-party systems—such as digital switching—into one intuitive interface. When paired with an inReach satellite communicator, it also allows message composition and management directly from the chartplotter for added convenience offshore.
