Jabsco 12V Par Max 1 Pressure-Controlled Pump

The Jabsco 12V Par Max 1 Pressure-Controlled Pump is a compact and efficient solution for small-scale freshwater systems on board boats and vessels. Designed to supply a single outlet, it is ideal for applications such as supplying water to a single sink, small washbasin, or other single-point freshwater systems where reliable pressure and quiet operation are required. Its compact size makes it suitable for installation in tight spaces, providing consistent performance without occupying much room.

Operating on 12V DC, the Par Max 1 delivers an open flow rate of 3.8 litres per minute (1 gallon per minute). An integrated pressure switch automatically controls pump operation, cutting in at 1.5 bar (22 psi) and cutting out at 2.4 bar (35 psi). This ensures consistent water pressure while preventing overpressurization and protecting connected plumbing or fixtures.

The pump features a durable double-diaphragm design, allowing it to self-prime up to 1.8 metres of vertical lift. This makes installation flexible, even when mounted above the water source. The diaphragm system also allows the pump to run dry without damage, protecting it during periods of low water supply or intermittent use.

Constructed using EPDM and Santoprene elastomers, the Par Max 1 offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance for marine environments. It is rated IPX4 for water ingress protection and is ISO 8846 Ignition Protected, ensuring safety in onboard installations. The pump is designed for operation in temperatures from 0°C to 43°C, making it suitable for a wide range of conditions.
