This chartplotter includes integrated Ultra High-Definition SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar, providing high-contrast detail that makes it easier to distinguish fish from underwater structure. It also supports 1 kW traditional CHIRP sonar, giving you deeper and clearer target separation. When paired with Panoptix or LiveScope live sonar (sold separately), you gain the ability to see real-time movement around the boat, unlocking an entirely new level of underwater awareness.

Engineered for modern marine systems, the Garmin GPSMAP 1623xsv Chartplotter allows you to build an advanced network using both Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000/0183 connectivity. This makes it simple to integrate compatible autopilots, audio systems, VHF, AIS, digital switching, cameras and more. With built-in Wi-Fi, it also pairs with the ActiveCaptain app for smart notifications, software updates, OneChart access, community data, and mobile control features.

The unit supports extensive sailing tools through Garmin SailAssist, offering laylines, start-line guidance, enhanced wind data and performance insights through sailing polars. Users can also benefit from integration with select Yamaha engines, Power-Pole shallow water anchors, Force trolling motors and the CHARGE Marine Power Manager for advanced onboard power control directly from the screen.

Optional upgrades include Garmin Navionics+ and Vision+ cartography for relief shading, satellite imagery and detailed marine mapping. You can also choose an optional 4 kW GMR 18 HD3 radar bundle for improved awareness of weather and nearby traffic. The system supports inReach messaging, letting you send custom messages directly through the chartplotter when paired with an inReach satellite communicator.
